No script to download or run. Every command below is one you're already permitted to run interactively — paste the output back in, and this page assembles the same report the collector script produces.
Collects your machine's network position — interfaces, routes, DNS, the path your traffic takes out — identifies who owns every IP along the way, and explains what it means in plain English.
collect.py and collect.sh are two versions of the
same collector — pick whichever suits your machine. Each runs the diagnostic
commands for you and writes one JSON file, which you paste into this page.
collect.py — Python 3, standard library only.
No pip install. macOS, Linux, Windows.
collect.sh — bash equivalent, for macOS and Linux.Neither needs administrator rights and neither installs anything. Each section is collected independently, so a command that is blocked or missing is recorded as an error and the rest still runs.
curl -O /collect.py
python3 collect.py # writes diagnostics.json
Both are plain text — open them in an editor and read exactly what they run before you do. Worth doing with any script someone hands you.
Interfaces, routing table, ARP neighbours, DNS configuration, a path trace to the internet, your public IP, and reachability to a few cloud regions. Every IP found is enriched with its owning organisation and provider.
Nothing is stored. Your report is analysed and returned to you — it is not saved, logged, or shared. Collection runs entirely on your machine, and you can read the script first.
Finish all 7 sections above to continue.
Enrichment and narrative analysis are complete.
